DIY: Super Simple Face Scrub

This is a very simple and really effective DIY face scrub that I came across a couple months ago.
You only need a little bit of MILK and a little bit of NUTMEG. That's it!

All you have to do is mix some milk and nutmeg in a bowl - about a tablespoon of each, but you can add more or less depending on how much you need. I generally only use this on and around my nose to exfoliate and clean out blackheads.
TIP: to really use any face scrub effectively, be gentle and massage the skin for a long period of time. Try to rub for a few minutes if you can - but be gentle and slow to avoid damage to your skin! This will really clean out pores and leave your skin feeling soft.

The beauty to this super easy scrub is that it only requires two ingredients, that when mixed together create a really good gritty paste. The milk helps to moisturize and clump the nutmeg together better than water would.
Just mix it together with your finger, scoop some out and apply to the area you want exfoliated! I can't stress enough how important it is to be gentle, as the nutmeg is very gritty and can tear the skin if rub too hard. I highly suggest warming your face with a wet, hot facecloth beforehand and then following with a cool facecloth and moisturizer after you've finished.

I know it looks a little gross, but this is the best and cheapest scrub I've ever used! I usually use it twice a week, or whenever I feel like I need a deep clean.

Hope you enjoyed this simple DIY!

Thanks for hanging out!
